ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems are integrated software solutions used by companies to manage their business, including incoming and outgoing transactions, and the organisations that develop them - ERP vendors - are the ones that need to make the comnnections with data exchange systems. Since they have the ability to add support for new eBusiness protocols, ERP vendors are clearly stakeholders of great importance for the auto-gration initiative. Their willingness to include interfaces for the auto-gration Architecture will be vital to its long-term adoption. These organisations are welcomed in the project, where they stand to gain much in increased long-term business. |
